Our Story:
Our journey began in 2021 when we built a Tiny Home for a local community member to keep her mother isolated and safe during the pandemic, embodying our commitment to hope and resilience. Since then, we've grown, focusing on innovative, eco-friendly solutions. Our small size means cost-effectiveness without sacrificing quality. With diverse experiences in design, pragmatic renovations, and project management, we're redefining home improvement.

The Mallard Brothers know how to deliver on quality, but we would not have come nearly as far without collaboration with local tradesmen, specialists, vendors, and visionaries, many of whom have since become friends. Knowing when to consult, and who to subcontract helps increase efficiency and reduce build times by a high margin. This makes us and our clients happy while creating a network of collaborators and associates that we like to call the ‘builders co-op’. It takes a village to raise something truly special, and our village is growing daily.

Keenan Duke
Keenan spent a decade traveling Europe, Asian, South America, and Africa. His work on innovative building projects throughout these travels gave him a broad and unique perspective on eco-friendly construction solutions. in 2019, Keenan returned to Olympia to refine his skills in carpentry and finish work. He excels in creative design and loves turning client dreams into reality.

Tyler Alverson
Tyler’s passion for building started early in life doing fine woodworking. This was expanded upon when he bought a house and took it on himself to remodel and make it a home. Tyler met Keenan in 2019 while working for a local contractor and found they shared a passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces. He manages construction project operations and coordinates with our large team of vendors.

Kevin McCrea
After studying Real Estate finance in London, Kevin moved back to Seattle and built his career in tech workspaces, leading commercial office renovations and managing building operations. While his focus is on efficiency and business operations, his passion is in small remodel and ADU development.
Custom Everything
Like any artist, we want to leave our signature behind in the land we do our work. Our clients provide the template in which we work, filling in the blanks and offering ideas to sweeten the mix. For us, consistent communication with our clients is how we build the dream space we all can look back in awe of. Going the extra mile is how we run. Sometimes it takes hours to perfect the look of trim, through sanding and staining, and custom techniques rather than going conventional, and that’s okay. Sometimes we’ll add an extra layer of finished plaster in order to match the pattern and color display our clients have in their hearts, and that’s okay. We strive to give you the best, anything less is not Mallard Made.
