The goal of this ADU project was to convert a garage into an Art Studio that could also function like a short term residence. The client wanted to make a small space feel big, with commitment to natural light and plenty of functionality. The existing trusses were exposed and finished in order to add height, and the new 13 ft ceiling was finished in T&G cedar to add a PNW warmth. This once-detached garage now has a tiled bath with a curbless shower, kitchenette, study area with a custom hardwood built-in desk and shelves to compliment.
